CEPA's senior staff have extensive energy sector advisory experience gained from careers in investment banking, consultancy, government, and industry.

These skills are supplemented by experienced CEPA Associates from the industry and the research resources of UK universities, particularly the University of Cambridge and the Cambridge-MIT Institute (CMI) Electricity Project.
